Safety ManagementSafety Management

SeaTec provides the following discrete safety management services:
  • Development of safety management systems and plans.
  • Development of the safety methodology and the risk assessment criteria.
  • Preparation of the safety case reports for submission to the appropriate regulatory authority.
  • Preparation of the supporting safety studies and assessment for the equipment, system, project, vessel or installation.
  • Development of the major hazards and their management through to ALARP justification.
  • Independent Safety Audit (ISA) and peer review.

Safety Engineering Assessments

SeaTec utilise a range of formal safety assessment processes and techniques in order to provide substantiation and justification that the risks are considered to be acceptable, including:

  • Preliminary Hazard Identification (HAZID) studies, employing HAZOP and SWIFT.
  • Hazard analysis MAHW, FMEA, FTA, etc.
  • Major hazard studies including PFEER, ERA, MOPO, Hazardous Area Classification, Fire Safety, Collision Risk etc.
  • Consequence assessment including Event Tree Analysis, Bow Tie Assessment
  • Accident and incident analysis using MORT, EMP, Root Cause Analysis.
